Sense of Sight
Sense of Sight is a Twine game that I made as a final project for a writing class. The class theme was "Unnatural Creatures," based upon a collection of short stories of the same name compiled by Neil Gaiman. The project was to create a story involving strange or unnatural creatures.
The format for the project was open ended, so I chose to create something of a choose-your-own story. This resulted in a short story which was admittedly a bit beyond the scope of the project. In total, the story comes in at around 5900 words including all the text for six significant branching moments.
In Sense of Sight, you play as a college student who one day trips, injuring their eye. Upon your recovery, you notice that you can now see strange creatures which feed off of the positive and negative emotions of people. You must decide how to interact with both the people and the strange creatures in the following days.
