When the government systematically rewrites history to suite its own narrative, it takes a little Reminder to hold onto the past. In this asymmetric 1v1 shooter, one player is the Reminder, a vigilante recording history on the walls of the city. The other plays a government Agent, on a mission to stop them.

Who wins and who loses shapes the outcome of the story in this quick, match-based competitive twin-stick shooter. The Reminder must dodge and weave past the Agent and mark up walls with artistic reminders, while the Agent must stop them.

Created for the Spring Virtual Game Jam 2020 by Gamespawn at UC Riverside. The theme of the jam was "Memory". Like any game jam, we have not put together a build in time for submissions, but we hope to add one later.

The goal for this project was to learn how to use Unreal. Using templates and resources in Unreal, we hoped to make a networked 1v1 action game. The Reminder also has a rewind mechanic that lets them revert backwards a few seconds if they find themself in trouble.
